- Information We Collect from Your Use of Our Appliances and Services
- Information about the use and performance of our appliances, including appliance serial number, usage activity and patterns, sensor data, service history, location of the appliance and time zone, settings, internet connection. Note that in circumstances where your appliance is connected to the internet and you have not downloaded or installed the Bradford White Connect App, we may collect and process this information in deidentified form, meaning that it cannot be reasonably linked to or associated with you or any other identifiable individual. We reserve the right to retain and use all such information for any legitimate business purpose without further notice to you or your consent, unless required by law.
- Information related to your home’s architecture and plumbing system.
- How We Use Information We Collect
We may process this information to:
- Fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, if you provide your personal information to register to list your business on our Websites, we will use that information to add your information to our contractor directory. We may also save your information for these purposes.
- Provide, offer, support, personalize, or develop, improve our Websites, Apps, appliances, products, and services.
- Create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us.
- Process your requests, purchases, transactions, and payments and prevent transactional fraud.
- Provide you with support and respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses.
- Help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Websites, Apps, services, databases and other technology assets.
- Test, research, analyze, and conduct product development to develop and improve our appliances, Websites, Apps, and related services.

- Note that FloLogic, Inc. processes certain App data for adherence monitoring purposes and related insurance administration.
- Disclosing, Sharing, and Selling Information.
- Disclosing Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business or commercial purpose. When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and to use it only for purposes for which we disclose to them.
We disclose personal information as stated below:
- within the Bradford White family of companies. This includes our subsidiaries, affiliates and business units. We share personal information within the Bradford White family of companies for all purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
- with data analytics, software/IT, cybersecurity, cloud service, consultants, financial, legal, and other similar providers that support our business.
- with contractors and installers that install and provide maintenance and service for our products.
- with service providers that connect end consumers with local vendors.
- with utility partnership programs if required by utility partners for participation in their programs;
- with banks and credit card processors to the extent necessary for Company to deliver the services.
- when we believe sharing is necessary to protect our rights, preserve safety, investigate fraud or other wrongdoing.
- when required by law, which includes complying with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to a government or regulatory request.
- in connection with the sale, transfer or financing of Company’s business or its assets, including a bankruptcy proceeding or to our affiliates.
- to enforce or apply our agreements, including for billing or collection purposes.
- for any other purpose we disclose to you when you provide the information.
- Sharing Personal Information for Personalized Advertising
In this Privacy Policy, “sharing” means disclosing a consumer’s personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. “Cross-context behavioral advertising” refers to the targeting of advertising to a consumer based on the consumer’s personal information obtained from the consumer’s activity across websites and applications, other than those with which the consumer intentionally interacts. In the preceding twelve months, Company has “shared” personal information with third parties for the purposes of personalized advertising. More specifically, FloLogic, Inc. has shared the following categories of personal information with third-party advertising partners for this purpose: IP addresses, web browser type and version, operating system information, page views, referrer URL, and device type.
- Selling Personal Information
In the preceding twelve months, Company has sold personal information to third parties. For example, FloLogic, Inc. has sold personal information (including information related to your use of the Apps, Websites, products, and services) to insurance carriers or home warranty providers, to monitor our products and/or your usage of our Apps and Websites. These third parties may use such information for the underwriting of property insurance policies and monitoring compliance with the terms and conditions of such policies.
Company does not sell personal information pertaining to minors under the age of 16.
- Information Security and Retention.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect the personal information we retain and to help ensure that it is used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless longer retention is required by law or for auditing purposes. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider applicable laws, the volume and nature of the personal information, its purpose, and the potential risk of harm from its unauthorized use or disclosure.

Our Websites and Apps may use “cookies” and other tracking technologies to gather information about your interactions. This information may include demographic data, browser type, IP address, pages visited, activities conducted on the page, and the day and time of your visit. Our Websites and Apps may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to make your experience on the Websites more personal and interactive. We do not currently honor “do not track” signals from a web site browser. If you refuse or delete cookies, some of the functionality of our Websites or Apps could potentially be impaired.
Some FloLogic Apps and Websites utilize third-party cookies and similar tracking technologies that are set by advertisers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use the Websites, including personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based, behavioral advertising or other targeted content

Pages of our Websites and Apps may also contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that allow us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages. We may use this information to provide a better Website user experience, and tailor our marketing communications.
- Text Messaging (SMS) Communications
We may use your mobile phone number to provide you with non-marketing, transactional, or informational communications, such as appointment reminders, service updates, account alerts, how-to videos, and supporting documents. By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive these communications.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
- Help: Reply HELP for more information regarding our SMS services.
- Data Sharing & Privacy: We value your privacy. Mobile information and opt-in data collected for SMS purposes will not be shared with, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Frequency of messages varies based on your interaction with our services.
- Your Rights.
You have certain choices about how we use your personal information:
- You can opt out of receiving our marketing emails and text messages. To stop receiving our promotional emails, you can follow the instructions in any promotional message you get from us. If you receive promotional text messages from us, you may opt out by replying “STOP”. Even if you opt out of getting marketing messages, we will still send you transactional messages. These include responses to your questions.
- You can control certain location and other tracking tools. You can control certain cookies and tracking tools as discussed in Section 5 above. Keep in mind that the cookies used on our various Websites will differ and you will need to set your preferences on each website you visit. Your browser may also give you the ability to control cookies or other tracking tools. How you do so depends on the type of tool. Certain browsers can be set to reject browser cookies. Options you select and choices you make are browser, website and device specific. If you clear your cookies or your browser’s cache, you will need to set your preferences again.
